I highly recommend Renee for Custom graphics if you have an online shop, she has excelllent customer service, her communication is wonderful and she has immense patience ( she dealt with my indecisive moments very well!!). Baby it's cold outside!!

This past week has really been cold with snow falling across the country. Nothing beats the beauty of Snow, I love these gorgeous pictures taken by Gerry who braved the chill to indulge his passion for photography. I just had to have some of these on here as I loved them so much.

It's official, Turquoise is the colour for 2010

According to colour experts Pantone, Turquoise (Pantone 15-5519) is THE colour for 2010. Well, that's fantastic news to me because this just happens to be one of my favourite colours too. I will enjoy designing with turqouise this year. This gorgeous colour which combines the calming effect of blue and the fresh vitality of green evokes a soothing feel. Imagine, tropical waters, calmness and a general sense of feeling good.

Turquoise combines well with most colours on the colour spectrum. Some of my favourite combinations that spring to mind as I write this are turquoise and brown, turquoise and red, turquoise and amber.

New Year, New Beginnings?

Another year starts. No New Year's resolutions for me this year. For a change I am going to work on doing more each day, small steps make a big difference. I have set my goals for the direction I want to take for my business and I am going to work on doing a little bit extra each day. I once heard that it's better to do a little of the things that matter each day.

Hard to believe Christmas is over and we're already talking Valentine's, hmmmm, I wonder what surprise is in store for me. Ah well, better get busy making some gorgeous Valentine's Jewellery. I love this necklace which is in my Etsy shop at the moment
